At Apex Drones, we place a high focus on safety. We recognise that the equipment we use to provide our services can be hazardous, and we take that obligation very seriously. To make sure that our drones are operated safely and responsibly, we have put in place stringent safety regulations and processes. The most recent safety features, including obstacle avoidance sensors and GPS-based navigation systems, are built into our drones. All of our pilots are highly qualified, certified experts who go through continuous training and testing to be current on safety regulations.

Every one of our drones is also routinely inspected and maintained to make sure they are in excellent operating order. This includes routine inspections of the drones’ overall structural integrity as well as the battery and charging systems. Our stringent event reporting and investigation process ensures that any incidents are dealt with promptly and effectively. We also regularly undertake risk assessments to detect and reduce any possible hazards.

We also realise that in addition to the tools and operators, safety also applies to the surroundings in which our drones operate. For this reason, we collaborate closely with our clients to understand their specific needs and demands and to establish a plan that is tailored to their particular operations. This includes identifying any potential hazards, such as power lines or buildings, and developing a flight plan to safely navigate around them.

Additionally, we abide by all pertinent rules and regulations, including CASA’s guidelines for the use of commercial drones. Our crew is acquainted with the most recent rules and regulations, and we take care to keep up with any revisions or changes. DJI T10 Agras

The DJI Agras T10 brings a highly compact-yet-powerful aerial solution to agriculture sites of all sizes and needs. An 8-litre tank and spray width of up to 5 metres allow the aircraft to cover up to 15 acres/hour. Its folding truss structure is sturdy and reliable, enabling efficient folding and unfolding, convenient transportation, and easy transitions.

Autonomous planning and automatic edge sweeping offer extensive spray coverage and effortless operation. The T10 also comes standard with an RTK module with centimetre-precision positioning. The spherical radar system perceives obstacles and surroundings in all environments, weather conditions, and viewing angles, regardless of dust and light interference.

Automatic obstacle avoidance and adaptive flight functions help ensure safety during operation. The T10 is one of the worlds most capable agricultural drones, allowing for fast, effective and efficient treatment across all types of agriculture.

DJI Agras T30

The DJI Agras T30 was until recently the flagship drone for digital agriculture. With an impressive 30L spraying tank with 16 spray nozzles, the Agras T30 sets the bar high for aerial spraying efficiency, surpassed only by the DJI T40 Agras. The Agras T30 is also IP67 rated to protect against water and dust along with dual FPV cameras for monitoring and has RTK for high precision operations. The dual FPV cameras provide clear front and rear views and let you check flight status without needing to turn the aircraft mid-flight. A bright searchlight doubles the aircraft’s night vision capabilities, creating more night-time operation possibilities.

Equipped with a large 30L spray tank, the Agras T30 has a spray width of 9 meters, and field spraying efficiency of 40 acres/hour, 33.3% more than its previous generation.

DJI Matrice M300 RTK

The Matrice 300 RTK sets a high standard for the commercial drone industry. It is one of DJI’s latest commercial drone platforms that takes inspiration from modern aviation systems, surpassed only by the DJI M350 RTK. Offering up to 55 minutes of flight time, advanced AI capabilities, 6 directional sensing & positioning and more. The M300 RTK sets a whole new standard by combining intelligence with high performance and unrivalled reliability.

Safe flying is the most important aspect when performing aerial surveillance and missions. To enhance in-flight safety and aircraft stability, dual-vision and ToF sensors appear on all six sides of the aircraft, offering a maximum detection range of up to 40m, with options to customise the aircraft’s sensing behaviour via the DJI Pilot Application. Even in complex operating environments, this 6 directional sensing and positioning system helps keep the aircraft and the mission to the highest level of safety.

The M300 RTK can be easily configured to fit any mission needs. The aircraft can mount up to 3 payloads simultaneously with a total maximum payload capacity of 2.7 kg. With compatible payloads that include the Zenmuse L1 (which includes a LIDAR module, a high accuracy IMU and a camera), the Zenmuse P1 (with a full frame sensor designed for photogrammetry) and the Zenmuse H20T (with a 23x optical zoom, 200x digital zoom, a wide angle camera, a laser rangefinder and a thermal camera), the M300 RTK has the ability to fulfil a wide range of asset inspection requirements in a safe and timely manner.

DJI Phantom 4 RTK

The well-known workhorse of the DJI stable, the Phantom 4 RTK provides a new level of effectiveness wherein a new RTK module is integrated directly into the Phantom 4 RTK, providing real-time, centimetre-level positioning data for improved absolute accuracy on image metadata.

In addition to optimized flight safety and precise data collection, the Phantom 4 RTK stores satellite observation data to be used for Post Processed Kinematics (PPK) and has been developed to provide survey-grade results with greater efficiency than ever before.

The Phantom 4 RTK’s compact build allows for a quick turnaround time in setup and operation, reducing the time on site required to gather survey data which will then be processed according to the clients requirements.

DJI Matrice M210 RTK

An aerial platform designed from the ground up for commercial operators. Features include enhanced flight performance, even more secure data transmission and IP43 weather resistance. The DJI Matrice 210 V2 is a powerful industrial-grade flight platform with world-class agility and speed, redundant barometers and IMUs for maximum reliability and smart flight features that make capturing complex shots easy.

The aircraft’s visual sensors enable enhanced hovering precision, even when flying indoors or in environments where GNSS is unavailable. The built-in AirSense makes you aware of your surrounding airspace to ensure flight safety.

The M210 V2 supports a single upward gimbal or dual downward gimbals. While in several aspects it has been superseded by the M300, the M210 supports the XT, Z30, X4S, and X5S cameras. This is the ONLY DJI drone that allows for all 4 of these camera options which make it invaluable for many applications like law enforcement. After all, these platforms are still high-class, rugged and robust machines designed especially for commercial use.
